
Shelly Rubenic, MA, is an intern and Helping Hands counselor at Village Counseling Center. She is training in Counseling Psychology in the Master’s program at Trinity Christian College. A former Life Coach, Shelly combines her education and experience to help clients identify and implement strategies that create personal peace and rewarding relationships. Shelly’s openness and warmth creates a counseling environment within which she and her clients work to find collaborative solutions that facilitate personal growth and positive change.
She has special interests in working with clients who are experiencing challenges with attachment disorders, depression, anxiety, low-self-esteem, parenting issues, adolescent adjustment issues, and marriage and family problems.
