My job is:
a gift that allows me to aid others in creating positive change and growth leading to a joyful path through life.
The challenges of my job are:
aiding others in truly recognizing their potential while instilling and acting on their hope.
My job is extraordinary because:
it gives me the opportunity to meet others where they are in life and in a manner that allows me to truly care for and empathize with them. I strongly value life and get to work with others to help them live it to the fullest.
I’m extraordinary because:
of my ability to genuinely care for and relate to others in a highly comfortable, positive, and therapeutic manner.
I help to bring new hope to people by:
aiding them in recognizing their potential while assisting them in creating and achieving goals they may not have even recognized.
I bring hope to my community by:
regularly participating in volunteer opportunities through my church and elsewhere.
One extraordinary little known fact about me is:
that I wanted to be in this field since I was about 10 years old.
Village Counseling Center is an extraordinary place to work because:
of how incredibly warm and inviting it is and because of those I have the pleasure of working with.
What I’d say to a therapist considering joining our extraordinary team is:
that you can plan on being welcomed with open arms and assisted in growing as a therapist and a person.
