Village Counseling Center strives to offer the best possible care to individuals and families at reasonable prices. To do this, we must maintain a stable financial base and request that patients keep their accounts current. Payments are required at the time of service. Parents or guardians who drop off their dependant children must send a check in with the child or provide us with a credit card number to be processed at each visit.
Many health insurance plans have mental health benefits. As a courtesy to our clients we call the insurance company to confirm your mental health coverage, your co-pay for each visit, and any applicable deductible. We are in-network providers with most of the major insurance companies and have supplied a link below which lists those companies.
We will assist you as much as we can to understand and utilize your insurance benefits. Village Counseling Center files claims on your behalf, however you are responsible for any unpaid balance the insurance does not pay. The best results occur when you, as the policy holder, understand your coverage and are proactive to ensure that the insurance company is processing your claims according to your benefits.
It is often difficult to understand the language and terminology used by insurance companies. We have provided a link to some commonly used insurance terms that pertain to your mental health coverage. In addition, we would be happy to clarify any terms for you.
If you have a change of insurance, please inform us as quickly as possible so there is no gap in your bill submission and payments. You can download the following form and provide us with a copy of your new card at your next visit, by fax, or by e-mail.
